This is already possible, just paste commit id, for instance: 2609253e

Gotcha. The issue was that I was using the short version, instead of the long one.
For reference, find the commit on onedev and click the copy icon next to the commit number. Paste that in the comment section, and it will paste the long version. When saving, it will be displayed as the short.

There is the option to reference issue, build or pull request, but is there a way to reference a particular commit? It's helpful when IDing recent jobs, or when things break.
