I have the same issue and after updating to 13.1.5, this isssue is not fixed. In Developer console in Chrome, the error message apears below:
Websocket connection to 'wss://dvcss.com/wicket/websocket?pageId=8&wicket-ajax-baseurl=&wicket-app-name=DefaultWicketServlet' failed. This error happens on
/wicket/resource/org.apache.wicket.protocol.ws.api.wicketwebsocketjqueryresourcereference/res/js/wicket-websocket-jquery-ver-66DD82C7676F897E740E7D770D684A8D.js: 48 -
@mzch seems that websocket is not configured appropriately at your reverse proxy side. Please follow below tutorial and check the websocket instructions:
https://docs.onedev.io/administration-guide/reverse-proxy-setup

Oh, I forgot
proxy_http_version 1.1;in nginx.conf. Thanks, @robin ! -
Hmm I am seeing this error message now on every page on this installation.
-
@jbauer Are you on 13.1.5? If yes, please share below info:
- Your browser info
- The browser console log for connection error
- Your front end proxy, and make sure websocket connection is allowed to pass through

It was with a chromium based browser (Arc) but today it seems to work. I didn't had any issues using Onedev but the red error message was shown all the time. Maybe something was cached in the browser.

There is a bug that sporadically shows this message even when the session has not expired. This issue has been fixed in version 13.1.6.
