It is still required in order to recognize emails sent by OneDev itself. For instance, your issue results in below in my mail box:

Ah, ok, I can see that too. I thought, I have received some notifications from your system without this part.
Still, I think it would be useful to make it configurable.

On our installation 1dev is sending email notifications about issue updates with
[OneDev]added to the from address. Is there any way to remove it or customize it?I remember a while ago you saying in this ticket: notifications branding (#1444) that this is necessary for 1dev to recognize emails, but now I can see that emails sent from your installation do not have this added. Maybe right now it is no longer needed. If this is the case how can I customize it then?
