This is already possible. Just add a project query to select your desired projects, and save it. The first query in the saved queries list will be your default query.

Yes and that's awesome. But I'm talking about the left side menu. So under the default Projects/Pull requests/Issues/Builds. A way to have your current projects there without the need to go back to projects to select a different project.
We are working on a couple of projects at the same time. And now this requires multiple clicks.

Something like this. With a little expose triangle in front? And a way to have maybe the top 3 projects there + the one you select from projects if you do this. Just to simplify the workflow in a daily basis.
I hope this makes sense and is clear?

@jorydekort I know what you mean. Basically bookmarks within OneDev. Currently I am simply using browser bookmarks usually pointing to board view or issue view, depending on the project. When storing multiple browser bookmarks in a folder then you can usually ctrl + click (or similar) the folder to open all bookmarks in that folder. Works well so far. Sometimes I also just keep the bookmarks sidebar of my browser open and switch between projects from there (which feels similar to having project bookmarks within OneDev).

@jorydekort got your points.

@jorydekort good suggestion. Will take this into account.

Main menu is too crowd. Instead the projects breadbrumb will be improved to show favorite projects (projects matching first saved query):

I am closing this issue, and opened issue #915 instead.

I would love a way to select what projects to show by default in the left hand menu. This way you make switching easier to your daily projects. Apart from issue #377 that allows to set the landing page per project this would make a daily workflow even quicker.
Thanks for the great work so far!
