I disagree arranging them into
TeamorWorkflow. New users will get very surprised to find branches/tags/pull requests in these categories. I will check if this can be improved when add the dashboard feature. -
Quite sure the groups or names i wrote above are not very relevants.
But this side bar is too tall, too heavy, too much items.
You can't just put all action links and stack them. There must be something clear in a short list. Here, it's not usable and i think you can move some nav in another parts of the app.

In the up-coming release, I plan to:
- Move
files,commits,branches,tags,pull requests,code commentsandcode compareinto a category namedcode. - Move
issues,boards, andmilestonesinto a category namedissues
The list will be much shorter then.
- Move

Hi,
As already said, the side bar is too much height : 17 nav items, that's not usable.
It always takes me few seconds to identify the item i want to navigate. OneDev is my main dev tool so that i have a dedicated monitor to it. Since some weeks, i realize i'm starting feeling upset to lose time due to usability...
Maybe it's time to rethink or reorganize it !
Child projectsis lost at bottom whereas it should be iniconthe same baseline as parent projet name.Branch,Tagsfor commit,Milestonesfor issues andCode Comparecould be inside the same nav group. something likeWorkflowor other better name ?Code CommentsandPull Requestcould be in aTeam Worknav groupBefore :
Proposal :
While it's just a proposal, the main goal is to reduce the number of nav items in sidebar.
Thanks for really consedering this.
