For externally authenticated users full name is replaced with email (OD-2251)

On our systems some users are externally authenticated. From time to time user's Full Name in profile is replaced with user's email. This is a significant problem, because, then user's email shows everywhere in the system, in commit history on the repository author information, etc...

I then go, and change user's full name field with something else and it shows correctly. Then again, after some time I again see user's email in full name and everywhere in the system.

I cannot pinpoint when exactly and why this happens. Maybe it happens during 1dev update to a new version? I do not know, this is just an idea.

If I remembered correctly, your external authenticator is written as a custom plugin. If so, please check your plugin to make sure not to return email as full user name.
