upgrade breaks emoji in issue titles (10.3.3 -> 10.5.2, builtin DB) (OD-1877)
Oleksandr Nikitin opened 2 years ago

TLDR: After the docker upgrade of 10.3.3 -> 10.5.2 emojis in issue titles got replaced with "??"

  • I'm using a builtin DB in case that matters.
  • Maybe this also affects DB backup/export, but havent tried that yet.

Why it's important: Emojis in issue titles are convenient to highlight/tag them in quickselect pickers

Which emoji are you using? I tested and it works. See changed title.

Um... I must've worded the issue ambiguously. The emojis broke during the upgrade, not after.

Creating/renaming titles still works, including on 10.5.2. The emoji break only when the version changes

it seems that you renamed the issue and this server still runs the same version, so I assume you didnt test the upgrade process?

    Repro:

    1. Create the issue titled "🦊✅🗄️ test" in OneDev 10.3.
    2. Run the upgrade to 10.5.2
    3. Observe the issue title changed to "?????? test"
