We have a helpdesk project in which issues are created from emails. I also defined assignee field with default value from a script which sets it to the project owner. This normally works when an issue is created from the OneDev web UI. However, the field is not created, not even an empty one, when the issue is created from email.
Is there any way to set Assignee field to a specific value when an issue is created from email?

Please show me how you've defined the assignee field in custom issue field setting, and how you've defined the groovy script used to populate the assignee field.
