@robin Thank you! I never realized what this button does! And thankfully it also automatically changes the current state for any issue. Perhaps it would be useful to show a different tooltip when on/off? It always says "Show change history" whether on or off, which would lead one to think that clicking it will actuallly SHOW the change history, and probably the main reason why I never tried clicking on it. |

When you have several fields set up, when creating a new issue (and possibly setting these fields later on) it results in a huge "Activities" log that is extremely distracting, with several pages of "this field was changed to that value" separating the issue description and the latest comments.
Most of the times, we do not care about seeing what was changed / when, we only care about the current value of those fields (which can be seen on the right-hand side bar), and we care about comments added to the discussion.
Separating the "history" of the changes from the main issue description and discussion would greatly improve usability. Potentially this history could also optionally include edits to the description / comments as well, which does not seem supported at the moment?
