Bot accounts would be more useful when accessing the REST API, it would allow you to spin up an account under your current account a "bot" user, which would be able to access the API on your behalf, this would prevent confusion when bots are submitting things like PRs.
Currently the only method to do this, is to have a second account and name that "Pull Request Bot" or something, depending on whatever function the bot is doing automatically.

There is no need for an additional bot account. Just use a normal account with access token.
