They were not able to access either parent or child without being added to the authorized users list
How do you authorize these projects?
-
I honestly do not know what you mean. I create a project, and I can access it (seeing myself as the authorized user), but the older projects still only have myself in that list, and yet the other devs can access it.
Update: it looks like the authorizations were handled through the user groups. Ooh boy, I think I need a little hint box to remind me about all the different sections 😅
Just further to this, is there a way to exclude a child project when parent is authorised? Or do I just need to restructure the projects?
-
All child projects automatically inherit all permissions authorized to a parent project. You may add more permissions to child projects, but can not reduce.

I could be just plain dumb here, but for some reason, other devs are not able to access newly created projects.
I created a new project, without issues or code management as a parent project. I then created a child project with issue and code management. They were not able to access either parent or child without being added to the authorized users list.
Have I messed up the creation process somewhere? This is the first time I've encountered this issue (and at least the third time I've used this process; first time on 7.9.8)
