In the future, OneDev might organize projects in a tree so that project can define sub projects. By then, user can put issue boards (and other setting) in desired level of the project tree.

GitLab done this through groups. You can create a group and subgroups and add projects on each level. This allows for a very easy and logical hierarchy and access permissions.

It would be handy having a cross project issue board.
It could be placed in the view you get to by clicking on "Issues" in the top menu.
Compare to the Issues view within a project with tabs.
