The raw button shows raw content of the file, and you may save it. Works the same as in github.

that's true, but having to click once is way more comfortable. Also Gitea and Gitlab do have a download buttons.

One can download the file by right clicking the raw link and click the "save link as" menu item.

Adding a separate download link seems redundent. Or maybe remove the raw link and add the download link? I find myself rarely use raw link, but occasionally need to download the file.

I would like to have both, but a download button would be more useful for me
