#344  Moving issues between projects
Closed
Artur opened 3 years ago

Sometimes issue is created in a wrong project, or sometimes it is initially created in one project but after some time and discussion in the comments, it is apparent it belongs to a different project.

It would be very useful to be able to move issue from one project to another.

Works like a dream.

However, there is one thing which should be improved, not only for moving but also, especially for deleting issues.

When you click on Move or Delete, a popup menu shows up with the first item on the list "All queries issues". Second is for selected issues.

This is very dangerous if you consider how this is typically used by people. Normally people list issues using query and work on them. Usually one by one, or a few selected, sorting them out, cleaning, resolving, etc... Usually fast, automatic without much thinking or looking. Current implementation can lead to accidentally deletion or moving all queried issues.

My suggestion is to reorder options in the menu to put "All queried" and "Selected" first. Or maybe, if there are any selected issues, then "All queried" should be even inactive.....

I realized this also. Or maybe it is safer to force user to type "yes" in a confirmation box before actually deleting/moving issues? Something like when delete a configuration.

A confirmation dialog asking user to type 'yes" has been added for "delete all" and "move all" operations.
